SUMMARY

I have over 10 years experience in the field of graphic design and I am currently employed as a Senior Graphic Designer at Cushman & Wakefield, a global leader in the corporate real estate industry, in Burlingame, California. My current duties include working directly with brokers to create brochures, flyers, websites, eblasts and other marketing pieces for use in property marketing. from conception through to preparation of the print-ready files and working with the printer to make sure the final product meets expectations through proofing and press checks. Standard print pieces include brochures, program books, direct mail, posters, invitations and various forms of event signage. I am also responsible for designing web graphics/ads, eblasts and making website edits in wordpress. If needed I also work directly with other departments within the organization to meet their design needs. Additional duties include working during performances at the marketing table, assisting customers and doing whatever else is necessary to ensure a successful performance as well as occasionally taking photographs and or shooting video of select performances.

Design: Experience in designing logos, stationary, brochures, posters, flyers, postcards and invitations from conception to final file preparation. Working with printers to receive quotes, discussion of specs and materials for printing, preparation of files for print, proofing and press checks. Working with advertisers to prepare and place ads. Experience in web design, creating web based ads and email blasts, from conception of the design to final programming, using wordpress and general cms understanding. Comfortable in both Mac and PC work environments.

General: I work well individually or with a team, and am able to handle stressful situations and work under strict deadlines. General proof reading/content editing. General office skills and basic computer troubleshooting. Basic accounting, payroll, accounts payable and general human resources/management experience. I enjoy drawing and working with different mediums, such as pencil and water color. I am an accomplished photographer and often spend my free time in nature looking for great bird shots.
